Hi there! 

I'm Cathy Yu, the modern calligrapher and hand-lettering artist based out of Los Angeles, California. 

Calligraphy and hand-lettering has always been a part of my life. It started out as a hobby when I was young doodling letters during my free time (and class time, shh!) which eventually grew into a humble side-hustle as requests for parties, weddings, and other unique projects came along. I love taking words and creating beautiful letters to celebrate people and all their life occasions.

For me, it is all about the letters. And it begins with yu.
